Bellevue is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bellevue follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is a wonderful experience for all ages. We went on New Years Eve! There were many small and large families with babies and toddlers enjoying the creative lights as I explored the garden with my elderly aunt. This is well worth a $10 entrance fee for the amount of lights displayed. This is a spacious place and wheelchairs and walkers are easily used on the well paved or compact ground walkways. The Scavenger Hunt made this unique experience extra special. There are so many focal spots to do family photos or selfies and benches around each corner to rest if needed. Mid way there are treats or hot beverages available for a reasonable purchase. We enjoyed the walk through the magical garden of lights so much that we went twice and even spotted some creatures made from lights the second time that we missed the first time. I went last year with another elderly friend and was so delighted by the creativity that I brought a different person with me this year. By the way… each year the displayed lights are moved around and more is added. Also, all the volunteers are very helpful and kindhearted.

It’s not even about the price — $10 is reasonable — it’s the overall vibe that made it not worth it for me. There just aren’t enough attractions, and the lighting felt poorly done. Some of the displays, like the frog lights, were so unclear that you could barely tell what they were supposed to be. The layout also felt really random. You’d see corn, then strawberries, then suddenly an animal like an owl or a squirrel, all placed without any clear theme or flow. I get that it’s meant to feel outdoorsy and “in nature,” but it still didn’t feel cohesive or well thought out. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming and unpolished. I wouldn’t recommend it — there are much better places to visit if you’re looking for Christmas lights.

Simple, fun outing and lights show in Bellevue. This has become an annual tradition for us, to enjoy a night out during the holidays, keep kids away from devices and enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate and apple cider while there. The lights are pretty and parking isn't hard to find. Before entering we first challenge the kiddos to name as many creatures they think they'll see, and then they have fun calling it out inside. The garden of lights, butterflies, corn field, and waterfalls are neat attractions done with lights. The timed tickets are useful and it has been easy to schedule and visit. Good place to bring the entire family - kiddos to grandparents - for a night out with the community under the lights.

Garden d’Lights was such a fun, family-friendly event. The event organizers were awesome and very welcoming. Helped keep everyone where they were supposed to be prior to entry. Once inside, the lights ranged from charming to spectacular. It’s a walking trail but it’s not long and there’s even a coffee shop about halfway through. The only downside was that the parking was cramped and if folks don’t have parking skills, the parking line got backed up quickly. The trip was worth it, though! We really enjoyed the evening.

Beautiful light display! Would have been nice to have additional food and drink options and a place to sit and enjoy them. There is also only one option for the restroom and that is at the beginning of the light display. We went inside to listen to the ukulele band and enjoyed it until they opened the garage doors and let all the cold air in. Staff was friendly. The gift shop was small and not set up for more than a few people. I would recommend going on a week night when it may be less busy. We noticed a long line of cars waiting to park. Parking is an additional $5.
